What happens if I have a house to sell?
If you are selling your present home you will probably want legal completion of both your old property and your new Caledonia home on the same day. Your solicitor will be able to assist in this matter when completing the sale of your present home.
It should be noted however that it is not always possible to co-ordinate the sale of your existing home and the legal completion of your new Caledonia home. If this is the case, you may have to consider staying with friends or family, or living in rented accommodation until you new Caledonia home is ready.
