What is Stamp Duty?
Stamp duty is payable on all house purchases over £125,000. The amount you pay in based on the selling price of the property.
Up to £125,000 Nil
£125,000 to £250,000 1%
£250,001 to £500,000 3%
More than £500,000 4%
The rate payable is set by the Government and is therefore subject to change.
